With it being that time of year and with a busy weekend coming up which results in me boarding a flight to the US. The normal schedule is out the window. A late run yesterday of around 11km just plodding around after a couple of higher effort sessions this week. Today hopefully a short intervals at max effort before an easy Saturday and not very long Sunday run due to travelling. The running stuff is already in the case for next week but not sure there will be much chance to get out and about in chilly Maryland. But I’ll try and clock some miles if I can. Real benefit of travelling out will be the 16 hours day on a plane with a training plan to write for 2020 🤔
These shoes cost me £50 off eBay and have done near on 700km. But right now I think it’s time to think about retirement for them. The sole has worn through to the foam in places and today’s slightly frosty run was a bit like ice skating - badly!! They’ve served me well for my £50 and the near new pair of #Glycerin16 s in the cupboard need to start their journey with me (another £50 off eBay) you served me well #brooksrunninguk @brooksrunninguk #runner #newshoes #trainers #runningshoeselfie #instarrunner #runningcommunity #ukrunchat #runr #runhappy #runeatrepeat
So right now I need to write my next #trainingplan so whilst I get that done I’m just throwing my favourite training sessions out there to keep me entertained. 30 minutes tempo today with W/U C/D. First time running over #10Km midweek before heading to work for a while!! #training #running #runner #runbecome #stronger #garmin #strava #instarunner
Well I hit my #annualtarget of 2500km at the #mapledurham10 #race on Sunday as expected. Last year I ran 2250 km in total this year I hope to make nearer 2700. I have really tried to make runs happen this year. Putting in more pre-6am miles than ever before and finding a way of juggling that with children, work, home life as well as working to ensure my wife can work her two jobs too. It is never easy but if you find something that you are passionate about there will always be a way to make things work out. Challenge the norm, break the routine and make it happen. Here’s to a great end to the year and pushing on to greater things in 2020 👍 #breakwiththenorm #challengethenorm #breaktheroutine #makeithappen #runner #runninggoals #run #running #pushtheboundaries #achievemore #beatyesterday #ronhilluk #brooksrunninguk #garmin #chiacharge #runsilverstone #thresholdtrailseries #rtts #fitnessworkout #workout #hardwork #pushyourself #achievegoals
