My Running Story

My Running Story

So, my journey into running started in 2017 at the age of 40.  I didn’t exactly see it as a mid-life crisis more an epiphany.  I’m usually a see from afar kind of person, enjoy looking and thinking ‘I could do that’, but never really brave enough to take the plunge.  Maybe I’m too concerned by embarrassment of failure.  As a child I was reasonably academically bright but would be the last to put myself forward to answer a question – just in case I got it wrong.  That maybe is where that reluctance came from.

Anyway, I have written a few things down about getting into running and how I found it.  How I felt, what I enjoyed, or not and getting to that first start line.
