Good morning 😃
Yesterday’s run took me through the 1000 mile mark for the year. Pretty sure that’s the quickest I’ve ever made it to that point in any year of running so far. Though maybe I should t be surprised. I don’t seem to ever stop running 🤣.
So my last long run of this training block is done. 45 miles today. Used last weeks route and modified it to add a trip around Bagley Woods. Which was lovely. First thing was so cold and frosty but the mist on the Thames was stunning. The sunrise picture is of the Thames at Abingdon. Looking east (obviously). Running in the mornings works for me and the family. Minimising the family time I use for this crazy hobby. But it also means I get to see some truly wonderful parts of the day I would otherwise never see.
Friday morning is made for 14 miles in the freezing cold countryside. Really fresh today but another beautiful morning and a good run to setup the last working day of the week. One final weekend before a recovery week next week and it’s been a big 3 weeks so this recovery week is going to be wonderful 😁
Looking forward to getting stuck into some new reading material. First edition of UltraRunner magazine and it looks a good one 👍
Morning miles up on the Ridgeway. Using the hills to get a bit of a workout this morning on an almost 15 mile run before work.
