Run commute training for Race To The King and revisiting some of the Thames Path that was a mud bath only 4 weeks ago for the Thames Path 100. Today it was as solid as a rock, not a skid or a slide all the way 👍
Yesterday I lost a colleague through breast cancer. Your 30’s is no age to be told your time is up. I didn’t know her amazingly well but in a company of 35 you still make a connection no matter how modest.
Ultra running for me doesn’t mean just focussing on endurance by just doing long runs or steady paced efforts. I subscribe to the school of thought that ultra running still means speed work.
No stunning sunshine
Job done. These Pegasus 37 are now in retirement. White shoes are never a great idea but when in the sale 🤷‍♂️
Some of my favourite types of trail today. New routes, cows, waterways and a Bond villain lair called ‘Skyfall’. Today was right up their for one of my favourite half marathon distance training runs.
